Shipping policy


At Hug A Plant, we value and care for your products and take abundant measures to deliver your products at your doorstep in impeccable quality. We take all necessary precautions to ensure that the products are shipped and delivered to you in an intact condition. The products are shipped in a secure eSafe package to do all we can at our end to ensure that the plant bears the rigours of transit. We have partnered with third-party delivery/ courier services to help us deliver the products to you. We have also worked closely with our delivery partners and have sensitized them of the delicate nature of the products and consequent extra precaution and care to be taken while delivering the products.

Hug A Plant website and informed to you at the time of placing the order. You shall be responsible for the payment of the shipping fees, and the same shall be non-refundable.

Please be noted :

If you order any live plants and accidentally give the wrong address, pin code, or phone number, please note that we won't be able to refund or replace them. So, be sure to double-check all your details before placing your order!

Bulky items that cannot be shipped via standard methods will be sent through VRL or other transport services that do not offer door delivery. If the customer fails to collect the order from the parcel office, the actual shipping and return charges will be deducted from the order value during the refund process.

If you're buying non-live plants, you'll need to cover the cost of shipping if there are any issues with your address, pin code, or phone number. This includes situations where the information you provided was incorrect, incomplete, or just plain wrong. So, make sure you double-check all of your details before placing your order to avoid any extra fees!

Given the varied nature of the products available on the Hug A Plant website, the time taken for delivery may be different for different products. We shall inform you of the tentative time of delivery of the product on the product-specific page on the Hug A Plant website. We will also keep you informed about the status of your shipment/ delivery, on a time-to-time basis, through our executives. We shall inform you when the product is ready to be dispatched and shall share a tentative date of delivery at your address. Once the product is shipped through our delivery partner, we shall share the tracking/ airwaybill number with you which could be used to track the shipment on the website of the delivery partner.

We shall deliver the products at the address provided by you at the time of placing the order. Changes in the address for delivery may not be possible post confirmation of the order by us.

We try our best to ensure that the products reach you in the best condition and within the timeline of delivery. However, in rarest cases, there may be a delay in delivery or loss/ damage to products for reasons not attributable to us. We shall not be liable for delays in delivery due to events beyond our control, including a shortage of materials, labour strikes, transportation failure, defaults attributable to the shipping or courier company or acts of God.

Typically, we do not accept orders for deliveries outside the territory of India. However, a request may be put in through email or phone call to understand if a delivery outside India could be attempted by us.
