Arrowhead vine likes bright light but no direct sun. Diffused light is best, as harsh rays can burn or bleach the delicate leaves and vines. Variegated colorways can handle a bit more direct sun, while deeper green varieties are better adapted to partial shade.True to its tropical nature, arrowhead vine prefers warm and humid conditions. If possible, maintain temperatures above 60 degrees Fahrenheit. |
|
Water your arrowhead vine regularly during the spring and summer months, and reduce your watering cadence come winter. During the spring and summer, you want to allow your vine to dry out partially between waterings but never completely. Likewise, the plant should not be kept too wet, either.Consider keeping your plant somewhere in your home with naturally higher humidity (like a kitchen or bathroom), or utilize a method of increasing humidity, like a portable machine or placing a bed of wet river rocks beneath the pot. |

The Syngonium thrives in bright indirect light but will tolerate low light settings. Water the soil thoroughly and wait for the water to drain through, then empty any excess water sitting in the saucer. Allow the top 3-5cm of soil to dry out before watering again.A matured Syngonium develops a climbing habit, which looks lovely climbing on a totem or cascading over the sides of a hanging basket. If you prefer a compact desk-plant look, simply trim the unwanted leaves with a clean pair of secateurs or scissors. You can feed your Syngonium with a balanced liquid fertiliser in spring and summer. | |
<Syngoniums are quite hardy and not fastidious about soil. It can be grown in the regular soil also. A mixture of coarse sand and leaf mould is a traditional potting medium for Syngoniums. Nowadays, Coco-peatwith plenty of vermicomposts is used as a potting mixture for growing these plants.Plant your arrowhead vine in a traditional soil-based potting mix. Arrowhead vines are prone to root rot, so you'll want to make sure whichever potting soil you choose is well-draining. Additionally, consider planting your vine in a terracotta or clay vessel to wick away extra moisture from the soil. |
|
Feed your arrowhead vine once a month with liquid fertilizer throughout the spring, summer, and fall months. You can halt feeding throughout winter when the plant will naturally slow its growth. For a healthy and steady growth of your plant, use seaweed granules (10-20 gm in potting soil), liquid seaweed extract, eggshell powder, NPK 19:19:19. Apply 1 tsp of eggshell powder once in every 30 days. |
